Is Dignity First a care agency?
Dignity First is different from a conventional care agency. Andrew provides a consistent, trusted local presence centred on companionship, outings, appointments, everyday practical assistance and thoughtful oversight of the home or property. The service does not include regulated personal care, nursing or medication administration.
Can support include appointments and hospital visits?
Yes. Calm transport, accompaniment, note-taking at the client’s request and practical support before and after an appointment can be arranged. Dignity First does not provide medical advice or clinical services.
Can you help when family members live far away?
Yes. With the client’s agreement, Andrew can provide a dependable local presence through companionship, appointments and agreed practical matters around the home. Appropriate updates can be shared with family while respecting the client’s privacy, choices and confidentiality. Any concern noticed is communicated or escalated sensibly within the agreed boundaries of the service.
Do you offer one-off property visits?
Yes. One-off checks, regular oversight and bespoke retained arrangements are available for homes, pools, estates and rural property. Retainers cover agreed scheduled support and do not imply continuous or emergency availability.
